Refund Policy
How refunds, cancellations, and rescheduling work for our advisory engagements.
Scope
This policy applies to paid advisory engagements with Redwood Hub Advisory — Construction Business Advisory, Project Cost Reviews, Workforce & Crew Planning, and related scoped work. Website use is free; this policy does not apply to information-only browsing.
Engagement deposits
Engagements above $5,000 require a 40% deposit on acceptance. Engagements under $5,000 require full payment on acceptance. Deposits secure adviser scheduling and document review preparation.
Cancellation by client
More than 14 business days before scheduled start: Full deposit refund minus a $150 administration fee, or transfer to a rescheduled start within 90 days.
7–14 business days before start: 50% of deposit retained; remainder refunded or credited to rescheduled engagement within 60 days.
Less than 7 business days before start or after work begins: Deposit non-refundable except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
Once on-site visits or draft deliverables are delivered, fees are non-refundable for work already performed.
Cancellation by Redwood Hub Advisory
If we cancel due to adviser illness, conflict, or capacity constraints, you receive a full refund of unused fees or an alternative start date at your choice.
Partial refunds
If we deliver less than scoped work due to our failure (not due to missing client documents or site access), we refund fees proportional to undelivered scope or complete remaining work at no extra charge.
Non-refundable items
- Work already performed: document review, site visits, interviews, written reports delivered
- Third-party costs incurred on your behalf: travel booked, specialist reports ordered with your approval
- Hourly advisory sessions already conducted
- Administration fee on cancellations more than 14 days out
Rescheduling
One free reschedule per engagement if requested at least 7 business days before the original start. Additional reschedules may attract a $200 scheduling fee. Rescheduled engagements must start within 90 days.
No-shows
Missed client meetings without 24-hour notice count as delivered sessions for hourly advisory. For fixed engagements, repeated no-shows without notice may result in engagement termination with fees retained for work completed.
Refund process
Email info@desktop-redwoodhub.click with engagement reference, payment date, and reason. We confirm eligibility within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed to the original bank transfer source within 14 business days.
Disputes
Contact us first. Unresolved disputes are handled under Queensland law per our Terms of Service.
