How We Work

From first call to implemented recommendations — how a typical Redwood Hub advisory engagement runs.

Engagement stages

Every advisory relationship follows a visible structure. You know what happens next, what we need from you, and what you receive at each stage.

  1. Initial call (30 minutes). You describe your active jobs, the concern driving the enquiry, and timeline pressure. We confirm whether our advisory areas fit and whether we have capacity. No fee for this call.
  2. Scoping and quote. We send a written scope with deliverables, timeline, fee, and document list. You accept by email and pay deposit if applicable.
  3. Document collection. Contracts, rosters, invoices, progress claims, subcontractor quotes — whatever the scope requires. We use a simple checklist, not a portal login.
  4. Site and interviews. On-site visits and conversations with the people who run programmes, approve purchases, and lead crews. We observe, not lecture.
  5. Analysis and draft review. Preliminary findings shared before the final report. You can challenge assumptions early.
  6. Final delivery. Written recommendations, prioritised actions, and a walkthrough session. Implementation is yours — we do not stay on site unless scoped.
  7. Follow-up. Scheduled check-in 30 days after delivery for flagship engagements. Short clarifications available at advisory hourly rates.

What we need from you

  • Honest job status — including jobs that are struggling
  • Access to signed contracts and current cost data
  • Time from at least one person who knows the site reality
  • Decisions on recommendations within a reasonable window — idle reports help no one

Travel and site access

Brisbane metro site visits are included in standard fees. Regional Queensland visits are scheduled in clusters when possible to limit travel costs. We carry our own PPE and follow your site induction rules.
